Well, the R1 took a swim, got out of the rain, then took
a dive off a bench right on the lens (thanks Mommy and
Joey!) It is dead now with a broken focus element.
Really bummed out about it. The positive is I needed a
new camera, and purchased the Panasonic G1. (See
