The demise of the V1. Someone I know spilled a little grape juice on it (I think it may have been spiked ;-) ) and that is the end of it. Took an opportunity to see what makes it tick.

The next pictures are fireflies! You cannot see them in the thumbnails, but these are 30 second exposures at ISO400 with a focus of 10m and aperture of F4.0. The first three are the front yard, the last is the front field! Amazing amount of them, you just have to see it! (June 24, 2006)

Lunar Eclipse!

The ultimate Telephoto.

1500x1400, big! This was hand-held into the optics of an 8" reflector telescope that my dad hand-made. I need to improve on this a bit as you can see some blurring, but I am still fascinated by what you can see through his scope.
