It is surprising I was able to spell the above. Here are the pictures that didn't fit in the regular categories.

The demise of the V1. Someone I know spilled a little grape juice on it (I think it may have been spiked ;-) ) and that is the end of it. Took an opportunity to see what makes it tick.

More fireflies! (You have to click in to see them)

800 px, shrunken. Full-sized for desktops!

The next pictures are fireflies! You cannot see them in the thumbnails, but these are 30 second exposures at ISO400 with a focus of 10m and aperture of F4.0. The first three are the front yard, the last is the front field! Amazing amount of them, you just have to see it! (June 24, 2006)

Valentown Museum, Haunted?

The Valentown Museum (known haunted) Well, I dunno, looks interesting! 100% crop. Sorry about the lousy picture, only one that showed this.

The ultimate Telephoto.

TheMoon.jpg (168975 bytes)1500x1400, big! This was hand-held into the optics of an 8" reflector telescope that my dad hand-made. I need to improve on this a bit as you can see some blurring, but I am still fascinated by what you can see through his scope.

Jan 21, 2004. Just got back from Syracuse, NY and stayed near Skaneateles lake. Took a couple of shots from the moving car that I think turned out quite OK considering... The salt and crud on the car window seems to add to the effect.

JoggerOnSkeneateles.jpg (118413 bytes)115K, jogger in the morning on Skeneateles.

SkeneatelesSunrise.jpg (99994 bytes)100K, Skeneateles sunrise on a cold January morning.
