Weather Dial Browser
Download 1.2.0.1: Multithreaded! Dec 4, 2007

I have learned a lot about multi-treading, and this has improved performance considerably. I have also fixed a few minor bugs, and in the Weather Underground search dialog I have added distance and bearing to the results. Also re-wrote the strip charts, though the changes were only to make it re-usable in other programs I am working on.

Thanks to the Weather Underground for enabling these great features! It was cool today to see all of my bars go orange as the weather service issued all of the Winter Storm Watches for this upcoming blizzard.

Weather Dial Browser program! Requirements, .NET 2.0 and continuous online access. This utility links into NOAA's XML weather reports and the Weather Underground which are updated periodically. It then displays the data using highly specialized weather dials to show trends and historic data. It is a work in progress, but feel free to check it out!

Directions:

1. Uninstall old version.

2. Download 1.1.0.12, unzip to a temporary directory, and install (run Setup.exe).

3. Run the program (If the installer didn't do it for you!)

4. Select a US weather site in the dropdown list for NOAA, or enter a site ID or zip code for a Weather Underground hosted personal weather station.

5. Press spawn, a new dial set will appear.

6. Resize by dragging, right-click for options.

7. Closing the program will save your settings for next re-open.
